Warranty Information

Effective immediately, the Mopar Basic Limited Parts Warranty coverage has been extended to 24 months / Unlimited miles, against defects in workmanship or materials, for dealer installed and wholesale / over the counter sales.  In addition, Mopar parts sold wholesale to an automotive service facility and installed by a professional technician are eligible for a labor reimbursement up to $150.00.  Mopar parts with Limited Lifetime Warranty sold wholesale to an automotive service facility and installed by a professional technician are eligible for the labor reimbursement for 24 months / unlimited miles.  The labor reimbursement is based on the Chrysler Group warranty labor operation time at the installer's posted door rate or the dealer's warranty labor rate, whichever is less.  Simply retain a copy of the installer's repair order for documentation.  Mopar parts sold over the counter to the vehicle owner for do-it-yourself installation are warranted against defects in workmanship or materials for 24 months / unlimited miles for parts exchange only.  The same verbiage from the previous warranty statement will apply to the extended coverage.  FIAT, Magneti Marelli and Alfa Romeo parts are included in this expansion.  Any Mopar part with existing superior coverage (ie Powertrain, Value Line, Sheet Metal, Batteries, etc.), as well as Cummins parts will remain unchanged.  

All Mopar parts sold on or after October 1st, 2014 are eligible for this warranty.

Performance and Racing Parts Disclaimer

All performance and racing parts are aftermarket parts. Therefore, they may not be used in any application that requires the use of Genuine Chrysler Parts. The use of any Chrysler and aftermarket racing parts and components may impact the performance characteristics of other systems of the vehicle. When operating properly, Chrysler performance crate engines, performance parts and components, all aftermarket components have the potential to adversely impact other systems of the vehicle. Except as set forth herein, such damage is the sole responsibility of the consumer and is not covered by this Limited Warranty.

Consumers are solely and completely responsible for evaluating their vehicle to ensure that the vehicle, and each part of that vehicle, is appropriate for these Chrysler and aftermarket engine, part or component. It is the consumer’s sole responsibility to have the performance enhancement parts properly installed on their vehicle along with any modifications necessary for the proper performance of the vehicle. Vehicle damage caused by a consumer’s failure to modify the vehicle properly for use of one or more parts and components is not covered by this any Limited Warranty and is the sole responsibility of the consumer. The New Vehicle Limited Warranty on your vehicle may be voided, either in whole or in part when utilizing Chrysler and aftermarket performance & racing parts and components.

Most Chrysler performance and racing parts as well as aftermarket performance and racing parts are sold without a warranty. Chrysler & aftermarkets Racing parts are sold “as is”, “with all faults”, “as they stand” and without any express warranty whatsoever, unless otherwise expressly designated herein. To the fullest extent allowed by the state and federal law, Steve White Motors expressly disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose, even if a particular purpose is mentioned herein. Steve White Motors also expressly disclaims all liability for direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damage or loss of property or equipment, loss of profits or revenue, cost of purchase or replacement of goods, or claims of customers of the purchaser that result from the use of any and all parts or vehicles.

Should any parts prove defective following their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor or retailer, shall assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing and/or repair. The entire risk as to the performance of such parts or vehicles is with the buyer.

All performance and racing parts offered by Steve White Motors in our online catalog or other offerings may or may not be street legal or certified under federal motor vehicle safety standards and regulations. Racing and performance parts are not street legal or certified under federal motor vehicle safety standards and regulations are neither intended nor certified for use on public roads. Many of the parts may or may not be designed or tested for crashworthiness or to meet the safety needs of the motoring public. Instead, these parts are designed and intended for race vehicles on race tracks with engineers supervising the installation and use of the race parts to ensure that the safety needs of the race driver are met. The racing parts could conceivably be combined in an infinite combination, and the use of some parts on some vehicles could adversely affect the performance of the vehicle or other race parts. The consumer is solely responsible and understands that their vehicle may or may no longer be street legal and in doing so take full responsibility if the vehicle is driven on the street.

To the extent that a part comes with a warranty from the original manufacturer, not Steve White Motors, the buyer should contact the original manufacturer for any and all warranty repair or replacement.
